It's an ideal timber where a uniform finish is sought. Tasmanian Oak has always been a favorite for flooring. A beautiful looking timber that also can be stained or lime washed to create a stunning environment in a modern house or equally in older classic homes. It is light in colour, varying from pale straw to yellow-browns, with intermediate shades of cream to pale pink.
